There are nearly eleven miles of paths within Mancetter Parish giving pleasant walking around the area and beyond to Hartshill Hayes Country Park and Bentley Woods. The area is undulating with the higher ground being to the west of the parish in the Ridge Lane area. Thanks to the local landowners and farming tenants the paths are generally in good condition and well waymarked. The Coventry Canal passes through the parish and offers a useful route to make up circular walks. The parish council ensures key headland paths are kept clear during the growing season by employing a contractor to cut down undergrowth.

Mancetter Parish Walkers Map

The second edition of a walkers map of the parish is now available free of charge and can be collected, subject to availability, from Mancetter Post Office and the Brewery Tap at Ridge Lane. Requests for postal copies of the map from those who live outside the area should be made to the Parish Clerk. This service is being offered for the benefit of walkers who wish to visit the area and want to obtain copies of the map in advance of their visit. In order to minimise the work for the Parish Clerk it is essential that the envelope is of the correct size (C5), has the correct postage on it and is self-addressed. Please request maps well in advance of your visit as, whilst the Parish Council is pleased to provide this service, it does have very limited resources so please do not request more leaflets than you need and please note the despatch of walks leaflets will be a low priority against other Parish Council business.
