Ridge Lane Methodist Church and Community Hall is situated in the very heart of the village and is within walking distance of all the residents.

A Sunday service is held from 10.30 until 11.15 am, followed by a short period of fellowship accompanied by tea/coffee and biscuits.

Sure Start has a Stay and Play session on a Tuesday morning from 10.30 to 11.30 am which is open to 0-4 year olds and their parents/guardians.

During the autumn and winter months Ridge Lane Table Tennis Club use the building to host their home games, and hopefully, climb the league table at the same time.

A prize bingo evening is held once a month, usually the second Wednesday, and the doors are open at 6.45 pm with play commencing at 7 pm.
