Councillor's Statement:

I am always willing to take up issues for constituents either to deal with them directly or liaise with other organisations to seek to get problems resolved.

I can be contacted by e-mail, phone or post.  An answerphone operates on my telephone number if I am not available. Please always leave a message and a telephone number and I will get back to you.

I am available for consultation and/or advice about all matters related to the County Council.  There are no fixed times/dates for County Councillor’s surgeries, instead fix your own time and place to meet locally. 

I am a Spokesperson for Children and Young People’s issues, Chair of the Children and Young People Overview & Scrutiny Committee and Vice Chair of the North Warwickshire Area Committee.   Details of the working of the County Council, Cabinet and Overview & Scrutiny Committees can be found on the WCC Website.

The County Council is made up of 62 councillors. There are eight who represent the North Warwickshire area and constitute the North Warwickshire Area Committee (NWAC).  The Area Committee makes local decisions and advises the full County Council.  It meets every two months; members of the public are welcome to attend as observers and can ask questions at the start of the meeting.
