| FORTHCOMING EVENTS | Open Meetings for 2012 | |
| Over the last 5 years MVCA has been working hard to promote the interests of Mancetter residents, and we feel that it is time for us to widen our boundaries to include the ‘other half’ of the Parish, ie Ridge Lane, to reflect the true extent of our community.
We know that there are already a lot of community activities being organised within Ridge Lane, but we really do feel that if we combined our efforts, we could benefit and include even more of our residents. We should therefore like to invite everyone from Ridge Lane and area to come along to an Open Meeting, to be held on Monday 16th January 2012, in the Ridge Lane Methodist Church and Community Hall, commencing at 7.30pm when we can discuss together how best we can address the needs of our communities. We can then work in partnership to get the best results we can for all of our residents, and to make happen what YOU WANT to happen. Specifically, we are currently organising a ‘Party In The Park’ to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee in June 2012 and we would very much like to be able to include everyone from Ridge Lane area in the celebrations. Please come along and at least discuss what you would like to happen within the Community. PUT THE DATE IN YOUR DIARY! In the meantime, if you would like to become more involved in shaping your local community, or if you have any ideas which you think we would be interested in considering, please contact the Secretary either by email the secretary from the Community Association contacts page or telephone on 01827 718523. We really do hope that we can bring the whole community together to enable us to promote the interests of all of our residents. |
