There are 23½ full allotments at the Ridge Lane site. The site is owned by Mancetter Parish Council. At the present time there is no formal allotment group but holders of allotments actively advise, support and help one another.

The minimum allotment size is ¼ of a full allotment. It is not solely a male domain; there are several lady gardeners.

All the Mancetter Parish Allotments are fully taken however Mancetter Parish Council is happy to accept names and addresses of prospective applicants for allotments when any become available.

The policy in the past has been to allocate to people living within the Parish, but there are several allotments allocated to people outside the Parish.

The other local allotment associations we have contact with tell us that all their plots are fully taken and that they also have waiting lists.
